Self-Proclaimed Foodies
Timothy and I have already begun to discuss what foods we will want at our wedding reception, whenever that may be. We’ve always bonded over food. Until Timothy, I had never trusted myself to delve into cooking because of the many disasters that beset me previously. I have failed again and again and again at seasoning food, blending food, chopping food, frying food, baking food, boiling food, the list goes on. When I met Timothy, I not only learned that I had found a man who is an unbelievable cook. But, I found a virtual connoisseur of all things edible.
And thus, my love of food has been ignited. We’re not gluttonous, mind you. But we do pretty much center our lives around our meals. Here are a few of our favorites.

Timothy’s staple is bacon. If it can be made with bacon, it will be done.

Ahh, livermush. The one thing I actually introduced Timothy to that he had never tried. Call it gross all you want. It’s my go-to breakfast delight.

I’m engaged to a Greek man. What do you expect? Greek Village Salad for THE WIN.

Caprese Salad with Timothy’s homemade balsamic vinaigrette and our own homegrown basil? Yes PLEASE.

And last but not least, Checkers Fast Food. So what if it isn’t classy and cooked by my Chef of a Fiancé? It’s darn good.
So, there you have it, friends. Our love for food is almost as strong as our love for each other. What’s for dinner?
